Network seizes in 5 L.G. of Adamawa state

The extension of the state of emergency in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states did not come to many people as a surprise, partly due to the new wave of attacks by suspected members of the Boko Haram sect in recent weeks, especially in villages and towns around Borno and Yobe states.

However, Adamawa state which has been seemingly peaceful has been on the recieveing end of the whole turmoil of events. Within the past 2 weeks, therer have been complains about poor and in some case total absence of any of the GSM carriere networks within 5 now Local Government areas of the State. These L.G's are Hong, Maiha, Mubi North, Mubi South and Gombi. 

Many claim it is a gradual strategic act to completely shutdown the entire state from phone communication while others attribute it to a failure on the path of the service providers, but the question on the lips of many is how can all service providers develop faults and the same time. is this a coincidence?

Massive traffic jam in Jimeta over security breach in Jimeta.

Heavy traffic was observed today in the early ours as passengers and traders alike were seen dislodging from the Keke Napeps and buses  they had earlier boarded in order to engage in their journey by foot. This was caused by heavy security checks placed on along the Haying Gada - Doubeli area. It was so heavy that most persons that trekked actually got to the other side before the vehicles.

The word on the vine is that there was a heavy breach in security late last night when members of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in collaboration with the civilian JTF sniffed out a group of insurgent residing within the state capital.

Other sources indicate that the insurgents reigned a heavy attack on their counterparts the Civilian JTF last week and killed about 4 of the members.

 Although the source is yet to be authenticated, military presence is every where within the city and is endeavoring to bring stability to the area.citizens have been going about their daily activities without any tension whatsoever.

Xsem releases new video + nails endorsement deal

Foremost rising Start R & B singer Saidu Xsem has released his debut music video.


The song which features R & B duo EXCEL and hilarious comedy acts by ace comedian - Samson Solomon ( Jesus Parrot ) is definitely a must watch. This release comes just moments after he received a phone call from Galaxy Pop Corn a major food manufacturer whose branch is currently under construction in the capital city of Jimeta. The endorsement has not been finally formalized but i am sure figures will soon start rolling out. thanks to my gossip vine.

The video was directed by Semsiri Richard and is a must watch. But i have one questions...

why does the video end with Excel rather than Xsem himself.

Hawker's entertainment Incorporated, is an entertainment outfit that was established in Lagos and is involved in all things entertainment, from fashion, film making, music and more. The Yola wing of the entertainment giant recently called for willing and aspiring film makers to rally in for a movie audition.

With the actors and actresses selected and trained, the movie, which is titled RUMTI THE WARRIOR is now in the making and from what I have seen promises to be a lot different from the modern day slavery drag movies.

the movie is being directed by Ace movie veteran Deno Haniel. With locations set within the sunshine city capital of Yola, Adamawa state and release date scheduled for December, I guess all hands will be on deck. So grab your pop corn and get ready folks.
