It seems to be rippling effect, especially following the state of emergency as declared by President Goodluck Jonathan on Yobe, Borno and Adamawa states.
Questions arose from all facets about the inclusion of Adamawa state despite the Land of beauty being tagged the most peaceful state in Nigeria at one time. I guess change is a constant thing in life.
Borno went into a state of deaf and dumb when all the communication networks were shut down thereby creating a breach of communication between the state and the outside world.
Now Adamawa state has been hit by the same plague. Starting at about 11:00pm last night, MTN started the trend followed by the other network carriers.
It is believed that the network shut down is attributed to an anticipated 24hour curfew.
Now the only sources of communication seem to be via the internet cyber cafes. as Black berry messenger services are also locked down. how ever no seeming signs of danger has been noticed as Army & police presence has engulfed the region. No statement has been released yet by any know telecommunications carrier concerning the happenings but Hookup Tv will keep you updated as they unfold. So if you have loved ones in Adamawa and Borno keep your hopes alive for them.
