***BREAKING NEWS***Adamawa State Polytechnic closes for 2 weeks after rainstorm destroys property !!!

Following the rain storm that occurred yesterday around evening hours within the Jimeta metropolis, which resulted in the destruction of property, The authorities of the Adamawa state polytechnic have declared a 2 week inpromtut break to the students.

This declaration came after students were awoke to the sounds of creaking roofs and heavy downpour around 1:00am this morning. Staff residing within the Polytechnics were also affected as majority of the houses were seen with either detached or semi detached rooms.

By the time the hostels structures started dismantling due to the sheer force of the winds, The students marched to the Rector's house in the wee hours of morning.

One particular house belonging to one of the residents not only had her roof removed but the tree within the premises fell and smashed two cars belonging to the resident.
