**UPDATE* Jimeta Friday Shootout - Robbery or Assassination attempt

The car that the unknown gunmen rode in, it was later burnt by an angry mob.

The shootout which took place today along Nassarwo has now opened the eyes of citizens within Jimeta to the reality of creating uptight security. NTA news casters  would always round up their night  broadcast with the phrase "Remember, securty is everyone's business" that has now become the trend of the day.

Let's draw our focus back to the recent shot out. Thanks to the social media platforms which have now given individuals the privilege to engage in "Citizen journalism", this picture was shared and is believed to be the vehicle the unknown gunmen used in conveying themselves to the Nassarawo are where the shootout started.

The question is was the shootout a robbery attempt or an assassination?

Here is the debate making the rounds . Some Ëye witnesses" say the gunmen went to PD debor which is one of the major distributors of alcoholic beverage within the city and is located close to the mosque. ANother party claim the gunmen where in pursuit of a target who was in the mosque engaging in the weekly friday prayers.

What ever the case maybe, i believe it is up to the citizenry to support the security forces in an attempt to reduce the rate of chaos and ensure peace and stability.
