A few weeks ago, the city of Yola was thrown into shock when the story went round that a baby named Aisha was born with 4 legs. two of the adjoining ones curved into her torso, A medical abnormality called diapgus!
This phenomenon led to the conclusion by many that the world had definitely come to an end. but not for little Aisha. as help came through Professor Auwal Abubakar a pediatric surgeon from the University of Maiduguri teaching Hospital, Aisha is now normal just like every other child.
This leaves many with an answer to the question "can any good come out of Yola"?
The mother was not present during the surgery as it was reported that she was taken away with the claim that the deformity was as a result of a spiritual curse that was inherited in her family line.(kai Africa has a lot of issues o!)
And for the many teeming concerned citizens, the baby is doing well.
