Adamawa based Gospel Hip hop sensation and Folo folo crooner, Oladele aka Big Delymo is no newcomer to the music industry. The lawyer turned Musician who made etched his mark with the smash hit single folo folo that saw him mounting the same stage with major acts such as Rooftop MC's, SAMSUNg and collaborations with Solomon Lange narrated his recent experience in shooting his recent video KAMARU and how he finished the shoot in less than a day!!!! hear him....
"It (KAMARU VIDEO) was directed by me and ocheche (Quest Media/AIT) and was shot in yola here and its meant to be a local video in a local settings like a village thing the song it meant to educated the youth about unwanted pregnancy and all that especially when dey go to school! If u folow the storyline on that video u will see how kamaru and shalewa misbehave while in school after been warned by their parents . while in school student are supposed to face their books not indulge in acts capable of tainting their future.
Big Delymo reveals a few inner secrets about the cast of the video
"It took us the whole day yeah tino (Martino El Casino Free style rapper) acted kamarus father and also we have bose B-Martins who played the roll of shalewa mother of course the yola famous comedian play kamaru and veronica played shalewa,like I said its like a drama and also a music video cause we had to dramatize it to show all the features in a play"
ALthough just back from a recent performance at Air Force protestant Church Ikeja, LAgos where he performed alongside Solomon Lange (Again) Big Delyo has been focused on pushing his music to the max. He says
"i am Still promoting my new album which i released in december. I just came back from easter praise in lagos alongside solomon lange and samsong and i sold a lot of copies there so basically marketing ma new album folo folo is the ish.!!!
He further cleared that..
" yeah i have (A record label) is "street gospel" music ma album folo folo came under it (i am ) planning to have ma own studio soon.
Well studio or no studio he definitely has put adamawa state on the map..The question is what would he name his studio and your guess is as god as mine. with the recent travels to Abuja and Lagos will Big Delymo soon be saying goodbye Yola and Hello Lagos????? Only time will tell.
