It was an emotionally turbulent moment for the mass media industry as the death was announced of one of her own. Halima Ajuma who passed on after a brief illness on the 13th of April, 2013 was a radio personality who served as a Duty Continuity announcer for FM GOTEL, Yola.
In an official statement by the Gotel management she was described as devote and dedicated to duty as stated further..
"Halima Ajuma, a devoted and hardworking staff of FM Gotel will be greatly missed! She passed to great beyond on Saturday, 13th of April, 2013.
The management and entire staff of Gotel Communications, pray God give the family and friends the fortitude to bear this monumental lost.

Today several members of Gotel communications especially the fm section trooped to the deceased family residence to pay a courtesy visit.
She has been buried according to religious rites.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
