The Adamawa state Police today paraded five suspected armed robbers arrested by the Joint Task Force at the command’s headquarters.
Four of the suspects were apprehended in Mubi council area of the state while the fifth was nabbed in Malabu community of Fufore council area.
Those arrested are said to have terrorised their localities with their involvement in armed robbery and petty crimes for long.
They are now under the custody of the police for more investigation.
It could be recalled that on the 29th of April, four armed men had attacked a relaxation centre in Mubi council area of the state but no arrests were made at that time.
The insurgent reportedly besiege their arm robbers are said to used machetes and gun during operation.
One of the victims disclosed that the arm robbers came to their residence around 10 pm and demanded money but they said they did not have, then one of the robbers ask his colleague to kill them but he refused.
