Just when i was enjoying the entire performance. The reflectors dance group just finished and then Sesugh announced the entry of the dynamic duo Excel which was welcomed with a thunderous ovation.
In the middle of their act a guy jumps to the stage and starts dancing. well natural enough since the beats were catchy..but to my amazement, the guys dressed in a red and black face cap and stern beards that could be used to knit a sweater for orphans (lolz) he then intensifies his presence with some rather provocative dance moves that are akin to club scenes in a music video and he did this with little or no care of the environment he was in...what made it worst he was on stage.
Fortunately the ever able protocol were able to arrest the situation quickly and calmly without raising an brow. good job guys.
Hip hop sunday is like culture and has given many youths in Yola the chance to express their true self but that should not be a guarantee to misbehave i mean looking at the youth workers in the auditorium, they seem well trained and organized..i feel that is one lesson all visitors can take to the bank!!!

OMG!!!! that guy smelled of booze and alcohol...but any ways what do we expect,he went on stage 2do dt crazy dance for EXCEL...I mean wt their new video on air TAKARAWA dat show cased scantily dressed girls shaking their bom bom..do we blame dat guy completely?i don't know how yola youths perceive HIP HOP SUNDAY...its an outreach programme meant2 call d lost youths back to THE FATHER,its so sad dat most of dem mistake it for...(complete it)
ReplyDeleteHmm! A lot of people go to hip hop sunday every year but I c no chang in dem. Wat I hate about hip hop sunday is dia dressing. I was told dat most of d grls ar addicted to sex and alcohol. Well, pastor biyasa has tried a lot to capture dem to christ but most of dem ar not ready to chang. Ma adviz is dis: alow d devil to teach dem lesson. So sad randy. Nice work any way.
