They danced, stepped, thrilled the audience, moved to the beat, created formations, made you scream, made you ponder and performed death defying stunts.
Hip Hop sunday season 5 in my opinion gathered some of Adamawa's finest dance crew up on one stage. The Motto of the event has always been One Mic, One stage, One God! which was definitely proven there.
Several dance crews ministered in the best way they knew how. Some came with old routines ( i think i have been to all hip hop sunday events since season one to know) while some blew the crowd away with some awesome moves and techniques.
The role call of crew included Oxygen, Bone breakers, YWAP and new entry called Soul Reflectors.
For oxygen i could not help but a laugh the costume at the beginning because form afar i asked "when did House of refuge employ new cleaners"but i was dead wrong when the dance started.
For YWAP, it was a retro moment as they dazzled the stage with their good old brand of story telling dancing.
Soul reflectors hmm.....though new to the event did quit e well for a start but i guess thats how most dance crews also started.
Bonne brekers....with all the costumes and props (which included a large 6 ft board n, cross and flaming gloves)!! i guess we better start thinking of doing a dance reality show in Yola pretty soon.
As for frequency dance academy, i was informed by one of the organizers that they called at the last minute to say they were not coming..hmmmm..smh!!!

Oxygen All da way followed by YWAP and da odas too did a great job on dat Dance floor.... I love there Performances and creativity....
ReplyDeletetwas boring....i only enjoyed d solo performance by dis new guy called K.O.D and d refuge kids...Oxygen kinda came wt a breathe of fresh wt their janitor style of dance.... soul reflectors i av dis question 4u guys what da heck was that????
ReplyDeleteSoul reflection there was no reflection there thou i was bored wen the performances became overwhelming but K.O.D,refuge kids,YWAP,oxygen n bone breakers u r d bomb.
ReplyDeleteno other crew danced lyk the "elfancy crew" whose name were not even mentioned. the three guys that came with the military dance steps. those guys are the best of their kind. i just cant equate their speed, uniform dance and outstanding stunt to any other crew. i guess u guys never mentioned them because you are probably......... u know the rest!!!
