It was a night of style, swag and fanfare as Jagz Nation CEO Jesse Jagz, Chocolate city first lady PRYSE, Ex- Syndicate record hit maker BLACK MAGIC and rap diva EVA stormed the commencement hall of the American University of Nigeria Yola over the weekend for the AUN Homecoming Power concert.
The concert was in a list of activities marking the annual event. Highlights included the Selection of the AUN Homecoming King and queen, Miss Congeniality and Mr. & Miss Talent 2013. (Watch out for the exclusive story plus photos soon).
As the Singing sensations took to the stage one after the other the tension and excitement increased as well. Pryse was first to take the stage with a soulful performance that got the guys drooling all over the floor. As black magic was called in it was not a dull decision as the crowd got wild especially when he got on with his hit single "CONFAM". Eva was up next. She amazed the crowd with a steady entry and cool hitting rap tune. dressed in black boots with black jeans and a white top with her signature rock start spike wrist band, she delivered line after line as the ladies ran to the runway stage to get closer pictures. Eva did not dull as she bent down to give a few ladies kisses on their forehead. (Huh?)
As the excitement grew thicker, she said that She was so moved and was into tears and needed a moment to clean her eyes. she ran back stage and later came back even more rejuvenated and did a pole dance with the mic stand. (See pix nah!).
The grand finale was the entry of Jesse Jagz whose entry made students carry their seats closer to the stage and to get a close glimpse of the super star. As he walked in, in no mean fashion, got to the middle of the stage got down on one knee as though uttering prayers got up and sat between his guitarist and his dj who was holding a beat maker (similar to the one used by linkin park at the start of the song encore).
In all, the show was spectacular and was worth every second.

How come only few artists from yola performed. who organized this kind of programme self?
ReplyDeleteYola is really growing entertainment wise, but if huge sums of mone can be used to bring in these Lagos based celebrities, why cant similar amounts be given to our home based singers, besides some of the ones here perform better that the so called super stars.
